I’ve always enjoyed fancy shopping and have collected so many amazing things over the years. But sometimes I need to resell some items to keep my closet under control. It is so frustrating having to pay 25% - over 60% in fees on major consignment platforms, so I thought — What can I do about that?
That’s how “PoshJoy” was born! I’m super excited. I know there will be some hiccups along the way, but it’s a start. We never know where life will take us, right?
My Story
I am a 49-year-old mom of two teens—a 16-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son. I was born and raised in Taiwan but have called the States home for 20+ years.
I have a full-time job, but as the kids grow more independent, I now have more time to do the things that I like and to explore new possibilities.
I love to travel, wandering through the streets and local markets of Europe is something I absolutely love. I am grateful for the unique perspectives that living in both Eastern and Western cultures have brought to my life. That's why I am fascinated by people and cultures different from my own. I enjoy chatting with people of different background, tasting new food, and discovering new experiences. I love to read and learn new things. PoshJoy is the very first website I created using AI (never too old to learn something new!)
I love to shop and I can't sit still. I am always thinking about new things to do, PoshJoy is my new adventure. Although it was created as a consignment platform, I hope it will become a place for me to learn and connect with new people, especially women of similar interests.
